The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is going to say this today. I think it’s the most depressing thing I have ever heard a leader of this country say.

“For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens: as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone”.
