Is that a Tory Peer and former member of Thatcher cabinet starring in the opening credits of The Simpsons?





This years Halloween Special of 'The Simpsons' has opening credits directed by the wonderful Guillermo del Torro and it's utterly fantastic, and worth watching just to see how many film references you can spot.





But wait. Do my eyes deceive me?  Who is that popping up around 1.49?

It can't be? But...it's uncanny

Is that Geoffrey Howe...?



PS. While we're at it, is that a 1988 vintage Peter Mandelson on the left?
